Adidas and celebrities

Through promotional campaigns and through collaborations Adidas have worked with multiple celebrities such as;

James Harden, Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba, Von Miller, Pharrell Williams, Kris Bryant, Carlos Correa, Candace Parker, DeAndre Hopkins, Pusha T, Damian Lillard, Karlie Kloss, David Beckham, Garbiñe Muguruza, Alexander Wang (Larbi.M, 2017)

Adidas has also worked with celebrities such as Kanye West on a shoe collaboration. By understanding what celebrities Adidas have previously worked with it makes it easier to understand which celebrities will be well suited to promote this campaign. As a promotional video will be made, celebrities that have previously worked with Adidas could feature in this. Understanding the celebrities also helps to understand the target customer and makes it clear who people look up to and are therefore influenced by. As this is a football campaign which focuses on people feeling like their favourite footballer it will be more appropriate if the video also features some of the same footballers. Therefore for this campaign it is important to look into who some of the biggest and most popular footballers are so that they can influence their fans.
